Annual juried exhibition featuring 75 contemporary works of art by 73 New York State artists. Artists in this year's exhibition were selected from 549 submissions by 294 artists. This eclectic exhibition showcases photography, painting, video, sculpture, book arts and more.
From writer/director Mike Mills comes Beginners, a comedy/drama about how deeply funny and transformative life can be, even at its most serious moments. Beginners imaginatively explores the hilarity, confusion, and surprises of love through the evolving consciousness of Oliver (Golden Globe Award nominee Ewan McGregor). Oliver meets the irreverent and unpredictable Anna (Mélanie Laurent of Inglourious Basterds) only months after his father Hal Fields (Academy Award nominee Christopher Plummer) has passed away. Proof Positive: Wine, Beer and Spirits of the Finger Lakes
There is a unique relationship between alcoholic beverages and the Finger Lakes. Social, geographical and even political factors have created an environment where wine, beer and spirits have become an important part of our communities, and we have embraced these industries as an important part of life in the Finger Lakes. Proof Positive is a celebration of the history, culture and economics of the wine industry, microbrew movement and distilleries in our region. We welcome you to explore various viewpoints of history, agriculture, politics and economics as you learn more about how wine, beer and spirits have impacted the Finger Lakes Region.
