Through the Eyes of Fanny Seward:  A Family Friendly Tour of the Seward House Museum

Families will have the opportunity to experience the Seward House Museum through the eyes of William Seward’s daughter, Fanny. Drawing heavily from Fanny’s extensive diaries, a guide playing Fanny will give a first-person account of her life, touching on the topics of abolition, women’s rights, her family’s experience during the Civil War, and what it was like to be a young woman during the 19th century. Appropriate for Grades 4th-12th.

$10/adults, $8/children 12 and under, 10:00 to 11:30 am or 2:00 to 3:30pm.
